How You Can Help...

Volunteer!
Make a difference in a shelter animal’s life by becoming an Alliance Volunteer. Walk a dog, bond with a cat, serve as a lobby greeter, and help out at fundraisers and adoption events. Volunteers receive extensive training by the Alliance, the City of Albuquerque, and veteran volunteers. To learn how you can help, call (505) 350-7357.

Purchase an Alliance Desk Planner
The Alliance Desk Planner showcases Albuquerque animals and their owners, and 100% percent of your purchase will go towards helping shelter animals. Calendars will be in Albuquerque bookstores and Whole Foods locations beginning October 2006. more...

Attend an Alliance Event
We get around some! There is always something going on: an adopt-a-thon, a fundraiser, a party. Check us out!

Money Matters!
The Alliance is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization so all donations are fully tax-deductible. And because the Alliance is an all-volunteer organization, one hundred percent of your money goes towards helping a shelter animal in the form of a bed or toy, medical services, rehabilitation or training, and off-site adoptions. Send us a check!

Adopt a Shelter Animal
One of the best things you can do to help is provide a shelter animal with a safe and loving home. Log onto www.cabq.gov/pets for available shelter animals, or visit our resources page for dogs and cats available through rescue groups.  more...
